In 1927, French tennis player Rene Lacoste created the first polo shirt. This shirt had the product code L.12.12. When Lacoste launched three new perfumes to compliment the three colors of their contemporary range of polo shirts, they came up with the Lacoste Eau De Lacoste L.12.12 Blanc. The range consists of green, blue and white perfumes which are uniquely sporty and have distinct olfactory characteristics.
The design of this range also follows the elegance and sophistication of the traditional polo shirt's symbolism. The distinctive logo – an embroidered cloth in the shape of the famous crocodile – is featured on the side of each bottle.
